The scores before and after singing reminiscence music therapy of both were compared. In addition, positive or negative narratives and non-verbal reactions per session were analyzed, and physical, emotional/psychological, social, and spiritual narratives were also categorized which are subcategories of the quality of life scale. The results showed that singing reminiscence music therapy palliated hospice patients¡¯ anxiety. It also indicated that the scores of emotional and psychological, social, and spiritual subcategories of the quality of life were increased. Furthermore, positivity of verbal and non-verbal reactions increased while negativity of them decreased through the qualitative analysis. Especially, singing reminiscence music therapy provided the patients with spiritual supports and improved quality of life because it increased psychological stability of the patients and decreased anxiety.
